Create your own Community

A “community” can be just about any group of individuals, for example members of a community-based organization, employees of business, a school, an interest group, or just a group of friends.

In order to ensure that groups created on this website are active and engaging for group members, the following is required in order to create a group.

Requirements:

  • By signing up for a group you agree to act as the group administrator
  • You agree to provide valid contact information, including full name, e-mail address and phone number. You may be contacted by website administrators before your account is approved.
  • Groups must have at least 10 members with accounts on CoolCalifornia.org before the group is activated.
  • You must agree to respect and enforce the rules of conduct for yourself and members of the group you administer.

Each person will receive an e-mail asking them to join this group. Once at least 10 members have created an account you will receive an e-mail with instructions to set up your group page. Please note: if group members live in name of geographic group, they will already be in your geographic group.
